History:
Anything Joe's® Personalized Gifts for Kids began in Myrtle Beach, SC in the spring of 1997 with a kiosk at a local mall. But the idea of Anything Joe's has much earlier roots. Founder Joe Bushardt began personalizing items at craft shows at the age of 13. With his family's help, he traveled all over the Carolinas doing weekend craft shows, Joe graduated from USC with a degree in marketing, working for two years in banking before deciding to put all of his energy into building a business using the art skills he had developed as a teen.
As he began in Myrtle Beach, he was joined by partner Clay Spivey who had years of performance, management, public relations and marketing experience in the music industry.
Together they have grown Anything Joe's into a nationally known personalizing business with a highly successful web site and a team "on the road" doing craft, Gift, and Holiday Markets.
The Retail Store:
We now operate a "Showroom / Studio" where you may visit to view our standard personalized gifts, brand new ideas and order just as you always have. This is part of where we process all of our Internet Orders and create new ideas and designs for our Web Businesses.
Our locations at Broadway and Barefoot are no longer in operation.

www.anythingjoes.com began as an extension of Anything Joe's® original retail operations. Starting in a tourist location, most of our early customers were from different parts of the US and Canada. The web site was started in 1999 to make it easier for our out of town customers to order from home. However web shoppers from around the country have found the site and we now ship personalized gifts to all 50 states, Canada and abroad.
What happens when I order?
The Internet orders are received in our North Myrtle Beach studio and shipped from there. All personalized gifts are hand painted after we receive your order. We do not use decals or stencils, but do all of your personalizaton freehand. This gives us a lot more freedom and flexibility when creating your personalized gifts, but also means that your order may vary slightly from the pattern you choose.
Does Joe still paint?
Yes, he does. And we now have other artists on staff painting alongside Joe. Some of them have art degrees and some, like Joe, have just painted all of their lives. These artists take great pride in creating one of a kind gifts for you. The goal of our artists is to produce the most unique personalized gifts that will bring lots of smiles yet get it to you in a timely fashion.

Local Stores:
At this time we have a Showroom where you may come in, order and pickup as you always have. There is still one franchise store in Virginia Beach, VA. We are not currently offering further franchise opportunities.
